Spatial Sanctuary

Stone, shade, and coastal silence

Constructed with hand-dressed local limestone and natural lime plaster, the residence frames the Mediterranean horizon while sheltering private courtyards from mid-day heat.

Tactile Materials

Elemental masonry and sea light

Masonry

Hand-dressed local limestone

Thick perimeter walls retain structural coolness throughout hot summer afternoons, forming shadowed exterior porticos above sun-bleached courtyard flagstones.

Finishes

Natural lime plaster

Hand-troweled mineral surfaces catch shifting angles of early morning daylight, softening acoustic resonance and keeping interior chambers naturally tempered.

Textiles

Unbleached woven linen

Generous floor-to-ceiling drapery softens cross-ventilation breezes, creating moving bands of shadow across quiet garden borders and secluded reading niches.

Design Philosophy

The discipline of quietude

Cala Nevruz was conceived around deliberate restraint. Rather than imposing ornamental excess, the architecture recedes into native olive scrub and limestone cliffs, directing focus toward filtered sea breezes and the movement of natural light across raw materials.

Every room opens onto private courtyards or enclosed garden corridors that ensure uninterrupted visual seclusion. The independent residential layout creates an unhurried cadence, giving private guests complete autonomy within an environment free of commercial hospitality distractions.

Seasonal retreat by private arrangement

Direct reservations are accepted for exclusive private hire during select seasonal windows. We invite prospective guests to share their intended itinerary and timing.
